Please keep in mind for custom orders that each bead is handmade and the beads pictured are a representation of the beads you will receive. Additionally, the nature of flameworking dictates that in some cases minor variations in size, shape or color should be expected. This is especially true of "organic" styles, beads that utilizes metals or frit to create a mottled appearance. I want you to be delighted with your items, therefore I will do my best to recreate as close to the original as possible.

Ordering:

Custom work is my specialty, so please don't hesitate to ask! All beads in my catalog are custom made to suit you and can be tweaked slightly if you have special requests. To order, please email me with your requirements and I will get back to you with pricing and timing information.

Often I list one of a kind beads and bead sets for sale on Etsy, and of course you can see and buy my beads in person at one of my shows, these beads are sold as is since they are alrady created.

Completion of order:

Payment in full is required at time order is placed and all payments must be cleared before I can begin working on your order. Once your payment has cleared, a confirmation notice will be sent to your email address. Please note that most orders are completed within two to three weeks. During especially busy seasons my order queue can get quite long, so to be fair I work on orders in the sequence that they arrive. I will let you know when I recieve your order if your wait will be longer than my standard turn around for any reason.

Payment method:

I accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, personal checks, money orders, and of course cash (for in person transactions only). For more information go to the Payment Information page. Once your payment has cleared, a confirmation notice will be sent to your email address with a "projected completion date" for your order. As you anxiously wait for your order to be completed, never fear, I've not forgotten you. I will send a photo of your finished beads along with shipping notification so you'll know they are on the way!

Small Order Handling Fee

You may place an order for any amount you wish, but we must charge a fee for processing small orders. Orders with less than $15.00 in merchandise will incur a small order fee of up to $5.00 maximum plus shipping. For example: If your merchandise total is $7.00, the small order fee is $5.00. If your merchandise total is $13.00, the small merchandise fee is only $2.00 (please note that our shopping cart will not reflect this sliding scale, but your total will be adjusted when your order is processed).

Why is there a Small Order Policy? Small orders cost us the same amount for processing, paperwork, pulling, double-checking, packaging, etc. as larger orders, so we charge a one time handling fee for these orders. This fee attempts to offset some of the costs incurred by processing small dollar amount orders. Remember that even with small orders, we still must take the time to process, package and label your order. With each order being unique, each has different packaging requirements, different weights and so on, so all must be individually weighed and measured before shipping. The Small Order Fee is clearly shown in your shopping cart before you "OK" your order, to give shoppers the option of adding to the order, combining the order with that of a friend, or cancelling it.

Shipping:

We ship all items via First Class Shipping for all orders in the US and Canada. Insurance is optional and starts at $1.30 per $50.00 ordered. For international orders, shipment starts at $6.00 US. dollars via Global Priority Mail. For more information please visit our Shipping Information page.

Combined Orders:

If your order includes custom beads as well as ready-to-buy items (such as items from the specials page), I will hold your order until all of the custom items are complete. You can request the ready-to-buy items ship sooner, but please note that shipping items separately will incur additional shipping fees. You will be notified via email of the estimated timing for your order.

Returns/Refunds:

I want you to be delighted with your items and if for any reason you are not satisfied with any item purchased here at gwaciebeads.com, you may return it for a refund. Rules for refund items are:

  1. Contact me within 10 days of receipt of the item by emailing me.
  1. Items must be returned in the same condition they were sent.
  1. Refunds do not include shipping costs.
  1. A 15% restocking fee will be applied and deducted from your refund.
